Amanda Boyd is a long-time Austin resident and has been working on campaigns and advocacy for over 15 years. Bringing her energy and organizational skills to causes that are important to her has been a driving force in her career. She has worked on issues related to Veterans, housing and gentrification, and social justice, as well as serving as a mentor with Communities In Schools for almost 10 years and a CASA volunteer.
Amanda has a degree in political science and because of her diverse background and experience, understands how important it is to get involved in the community.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys the outdoors, hiking, playing tennis, swimming, and traveling.
